Away Unranked Player 1 Paul A (not sure of the surname)
Winchester Vets 3 Lost to Abshot Vets in a one-sided match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 73 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Paul Reader, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 1 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 129 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Paul Reader.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 2 string, Philip Laurenson, gaining 40 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Philip Laurenson, who over-turned a 168 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
Abshot unranked player Paul A? to be added for next period.
